If* a girl can pull off short hair I think it's cute. I still very much prefer long hair but it isn't terrible looking if it suits her, but I don't often see that. A man with long hair, I personally prefer to be short to medium but I also lack the patience to grow it out to a glorious viking mane lol. I tried once or twice but gave up. But I mean, some guys out there really need longer hair to compliment their facial structure, so for those whom seem born to have it I say go for it. Just try to keep it as masculine as possible.
Lmao you do look like a viking haha
Haha well they were my ancestors so I suppose it is to be expected.
I hate guys with long hair especially when they make that stupid man bun they all are pretty boys. I don't mind girls with short hair as long it was done and styled right and look like a little boy hair cut. I honestly like a girl with long hair but it's is nice to cut it off and let some new hair grow out.
Yea maybe

It all depends on the person, but when that person can rock that look... man then it's attractive haha
Like there are the Jason Maoma Long her men and then there is Kevin sitting in his moms basement long her guys... little extreme! but I guess you get my point
Lmao
There have been so many hairstyle trends throughout history. Women almost always had long hair. The bobbed look became fashionable in the 1920s and there have been many other styles and trends since.
I see women with all sorts of hair styles. I'm not a huge fan of super long hair on women. Medium length looks great and some shorter styles are super cute and flattering. The only thing I don't like are boy cuts or shaved heads on women. Boy cuts look dykey and shaved heads look like radical feminists. I'm not crazy about weird hair styles like crazy colors or parts of their heads shaved, either. Oh, and Karen cuts suck. LOL I prefer cute, wholesome girly girls.
As for men. Think of wild west guys like George Armstrong Custer or Buffalo Bill. But lots of guys back then went in for haircuts. During WWII, the fashion was military-style short hair and clean shaven faces. Then the 60s came along with longer hair styles like the Beatles. Hippies came into fashion, and then rock musicians.
I, myself, started growing my hair out in high school because I hung out with surfers and hippies and was a rock musician. It wound up down to my shoulder blades. Then, when I was 26, I got handed a professional job that turned into a career. I had to cut my hair and grow up. LOL
Now days, I see all kinds of hair styles on men - everything from shaved heads, to GQ cuts, man buns and mullets, to long, hippie/rock star hair. Of course, there are also punk styles and edgy bullshit.
In the mid-2000s, I started a band with me on guitar and vocals. I started growing my hair out again so that I would look more like a rock musician, but it's styled (my wife is a hair stylist). The front and top are medium length, the back is a few inches below my collar, and the sides feather/taper to the back so that I don't have a mullet. My band came apart in around 2019 and then covid came along and people quit gathering, so I sort of quit playing. I still have sort of long hair, but I'm thinking of cutting the back shorter because, frankly, short hair requires less maintenance. It's not always better to look good than to feel good. Do you know what I mean, dahling?
You inspired this. I’d love to hair hair down to my waist! Yes i mentioned above i dont like that shaved look either. Why did you have to cut it for a job? You couldnt just pull it back ina ponytail?
I had a friend whose mom lived down the street from a VP with an auto insurance company. She got us interviews to apply for a trainee program to become a motor vehicle damage field adjuster/appraisers. The company's office was in Century City in L. A.
The day before my interview, I got a hair cut and bought a three piece suit. I really wanted the job because the salary and benefits were amazing compared to anything I had received before. I didn't even have a college degree.
I knew nothing about the job. I was nervous about the interview and didn't realize that the VP had already told them to hire me. LOL
Anyway, I wouldn't have fit in with long hair. Everyone there was professional. It's just as well. It took me a few years to adjust to the job and my new persona/lifestyle, but it made me grow up.
I am not a big fan of short hair on girls but that doesn’t mean I think all short haired girls are unattractive cuz their are short haired girls I thought were hot , so it just comes down to how that person looks to your own eyes some people can rock it and some don’t , everyone has preferences but preferences don’t really mean shit if you meet someone that is amazing to you , if we all based attraction off preferences then no one would be getting into relationships period lol Holding preferences is kind of stupid to be honest it’s like judging a book by it’s cover , it’s a selfish decision , in reality it really doesn’t mean shit , you are only limiting yourself from meeting someone amazing , prejudging someone based off of their appearance is stupid to me , we are all imperfect people and we all have flaws but we are all beautiful people as well , finding someone that accepts your flaws like you accept theirs is what matters , Yes we can all be attracted to a certain preference but when push comes to shove it’s stupid to think that way , Just cuz I say I want a beautiful blonde with nice tits and ass it doesn’t mean I am not going to be attracted to a brunette with beautiful eyes and nice tits and ass etc. So to me people that hold preferences as a deciding factor are stupid to me Cuz you are basing decisions off of false reality , sorry , it’s just how I see things, I don’t really judge people, if someone is nice to me, I will be nice to them back whether they have 2 heads or they are dressed liked they came from a dumpster , just because I am not attracted to their appearance it doesn’t mean that they are an asshole , usually the people that fit our preferences are the assholes, when someone thinks their shit don’t stink they are an asshole. When you start accepting flaws in others that’s when you will finally find true love , if you only fall for people that meet your preference you will have a harder time meeting someone. The heart is where it’s at and the Chemistry and connection is what matters Just because someone is beautiful on the outside it doesn’t mean they are beautiful in the inside vice versa. I see tons of beautiful girls all the time that look sexy as fuck from their appearance but it doesn’t mean they are beautiful in the inside , if a beautiful girl catches my eye and I find out she is a selfish bitch or asshole my attraction toward her fades away her looks don’t mean shit to me anymore , I want someone that values me like I value them , accepts my flaws like I accept theirs etc. That person will stay beautiful to you forever
Ehh preferences still matter otherwise i end up disappointed in the end for going against the grain
I think long hair in guys looks amazing when it is clean and kept up. Like, I even like the controversial man bun.
I think good long hair and a well-kept beard is one of the best masculine looks out there. All the main guys in Lord of the Rings we're gorgeous. Thor is great. Bucky Barnes was a stud as the winter soldier. Loki is a guy crush of mine.
I'm also crazy about short, "boyish" haircuts in women. Despite me calling it "boyish", I think it is remarkably feminine. I think if you have the face for it, it's the sexiest thing ever. I'm not much a fan of buzzed personally, but a pixie cut is super sexy, and bald can look rather pretty as well.
But one of my first big crushes was Winona Ryder in whichever Alien movie that was. Or in Girl, Interrupted. Daisy in The Great Gatsby was a stunner. And holy shit the whole vibe of The Matrix was sexy as hell.
Oh but for the love of God, the "Karen" cut is absolutely one of the worst hair styles out there.
I hate beards. I liked bucky better when he cut his hair. Thor is a sexy man… preferably when he had short hair and an eye patch. I hated Winonas short hair. I liked it better in Little Women. Daisy actually was stunning with short hair.
I think it depends on their look and style. I thought I was able to rock a good fedora. Then the “m’lady” neck beard guys came along and made it a thing, and everybody started associating a fedora with those guys. But do I think anyone can pull off the look? Nope.
I used to like my goatee. Then I got gray. And had to be on Skype/Zoom, which doesn’t pick up the subtleties of color, so it looked like two weird bits of hair on the chin and nothing in the middle (which wasn’t the case, but it looked really bad) Terrible look. I don’t know if I can figure out how to dye it so it looks good or not.
I don’t think I could pull of the long hair look for myself. I don’t think I could pull off the huge lumberjack look. I don’t know about the bald look, either. I know women with long hair that rock it, and I know women with short hair who rock it. And short hair doesn’t always mean the lady can pull of the buzzed hair look, or the one side shaved with the other long or medium. But some absolutely can.
Haha partially grey goatees are oddly cute to me haha
I would say it depends on the person. I've seen really nice looking long hair on guys and short hair on women, and others on which didn't flatter them as much. It also depends on how well cared for it is, as hair that is greasy, tangled/matted, and/or visibly damaged (fried looking) never looks good.
I've always had a preference for medium-longish hair on most guys, though. I've always felt it's generally more flattering. Never really been a buzzcut/shaved sides/spiked top fan, though there are definitely guys who still look good with those styles.
I wouldn't get a short haircut for myself because I really don't think I could pull it off (I just don't think I have the face and neck for it), plus I prefer mine shoulder length or longer, as I like that look better. I've never been a fan of the shorter in the back type of styles, there are definitely women who still look good with them.
I def love shaved/buzzcut on a guy
Most of the men I have spoken to have said they hate short hair on a woman and that sometimes a woman can pull it off if she has a very dainty feminine face but even then long hair is preferred and more feminine.
I don’t like long hair on men. I prefer well kept short hair but not too short - just enough that it looks like a man.
Anything typically feminine on men and anything that would be typically masculine on women is unattractive to the masses. For straight men long healthy silky hair on a woman is the epitome of feminine beauty and for straight women she wouldn’t want a man with hair that looks like hers.
Yea i agree about short hair on men
Well, I think guys are just unattractive, period, so I'll focus on the women.
And my answer to that is going to be a cliché: it really depends on the woman. There are certain frames/builds/faces that look very attractive with short hair, and there are other women that just really look much better with long hair.
I'm not a big fan of the shaved head look on women, either, but there are honestly some women that can, and have, pulled it off, so it is definitely doable.
I'm personally of the opinion that it doesn't really matter all that much. I've had hair down to the middle of my back, and now I shave my head, so I'm certainly not one to criticize, either way. 🤷♂️
Shaved on a guy is so hot! Its the best ever! 💪💪
I offer free "good luck" rubs every Tuesday 😂

You have failed me, G@G gif linking thingie! Boo! 😡
Omg that reminds me of HS where the boys said they had to touch my boobs (shirt still on) in order to win basketball games. One day i didn't let them before the game and they lost 🤣
Well, see, then? All your fault!
They couldn't concentrate on the game without their lucky pre-game grope. Don't you feel terrible? 😂
😂😂😂
In my "surf days", I had hair like this. I was actually a "ginger" but lemon juice and bright sun gave me this (that's not me).
Since race was never an issue for me, and still isn't, one girl I was with had hair like this.
She was born in Kenya. Her hair was very brittle and she could not grow it long.
Gotta love The Creator's infinite variety.
Wow never knew you were a redhead
I love surfer dudes but the ones with short hair that dont look like stoners lmao
I love short hair on girls! I'll use one of the pictures that I used in another thread.
Yes the first girl and halle berry pull it off
No, I don't think so. A guy in the university a few years ago has a long hair and I had a hard crush on him but that was because he was my type and not because of his hair. He looked like a girl and many people mistook him for a girl. That's my type for guys. Long hair, short hair - doesn't matter. If he looks like a girl, I'll most probably like him. :)
It's the same with women and hair length - if she's beautiful, the hair doesn't matter. Rihanna cut her hair shorter than usual at some point of her career but that didn't change the fact she's hot and I would still try and hit her, if I had the chance. :)
Or Amanda Tapping whose hair was short for the most part of "Stargate SG-1" - hot baby back then with short hair, hot MILF later with long hair. :)
Oh ok
It depends. Usually a woman would look better with longer hair. Even IF she can pull off looking good with short hair. With guys... I'm a heterosexual male so I'm not going to tell you what looks good to women there but to me, if a guy is masculine in character, the length of his hair won't matter. The problem is if he is using hair as part of trying to be feminine.
True
Hello dear little lady,
I guess the fun is about over. I’m flying back to Continental USA after 2 plus weeks of warm International weather very soon. Let’s say I’m up very late ⏰ this evening. Maybe twice a week “checkin” from soon on as life is treacherously busy.-it’s not a great life structure for Relationships Goodnight😴
So do you normally live in the south too
I do think It’s fine that men have long hair and women have short hair.
if you can pull it off and look good it can be sexy.
however it’s my preference When women have hair that’s longer than mens.
men tend to look better with shorter hair and women with longer hair
True
makes no difference to me, long, short, i know many people with both. doesn't take away form who they are as a person, i dont see it as a bad thing on either. the whole labels thins um have you seen a long hair avan jogia? OOOOOO MYYYYY GAWWWWD, case close lol
Yea he's sexy af but i still prefer short on him
I think men dislike short hair on women much more so than women dislike long hair on men.
I met plenty of women who actually prefer long hair on men, but I can't remember ever hearing a guy say they prefer short hair on a woman.
I have long-ish hair myself but I don't like short hair on women.
Oh wow didn't expect your hair to be long
I really don't mind what length hair guys want to have. So long as they keep it washed and not greasy lol.
I myself have a very boyish cut for a straight girl. Do I care if most guys don't like it or if they think I'm a dyke? Heck no! 😄
People will always find something about you to judge, so why not make it easy and straight to the point for them? 😆 (Joke)
Haha
I think it really depends on the person and their style, face shape, or how they style their hair.
I know some women who keep it super short, and they look amazing with it. They rock the hell out of it, and know how to style it. Then when their hair is long, it looks really bad lol.
I know some guys with long hair who literally do not know how to style hair one bit and it looks like crap, and they look 10x better with short hair.
Lmao i mean some guys can pull off manbuns but i wouldn't want to date them
If a dude got the right game looks and hair doesn't matter. Do you really think those longer hairs or shorter hairs are gonna make difference and girl is gonna walk down the road and go " I'd fk him but there's an extra inches on his hair ummm maybe... bla BLA BLA.
Yea i would. I’d ask him to cut it
I find both attractive and here is the reason why. Men with well groomed longer hair is extremely and it's more about hygiene and grooming than it is about the length of the hair really. There is just something about a man secure enough in his masculinity to rock long hair and a good grooming routine.
Short hair on women is attractive for another reason. It indicates that she is secure enough in who she is and what she like to not conform to traditional beauty standards.
