Long nails or short?

So let's settle this one's and for all. In my opinion and most i know long nails is a red flag, and we just stay away from it.
Semi long nails is ok, but we prefer short nails. That is at least the impression i get from the people i know and my self.
So i sett up this poll to see, and i bet most of the ones that likes long nails have long nails.
Only thing long nails have proven to be good for is backscratches.

I don't mind them SLIGHTLY long, say, about half an inch past the edge of the skin. I keep a few of mine kinda long (at least 1/4") because I tend to use them as tools and it's SO HARD to pick up flat shit on the floor/ground without them!! But, I just don't understand the attraction of having them several inches long!! Especially for girls!! Especially if, for some reason, you have to go digging up your pussy to get something out of it!! You can't type well with those, you can't use a rotary phone dial, you have to be careful with them when you're cooking stuff or wiping your baby's ass, or even YOURS and if you have an accident and snap one of them off, it could tear completely off your finger!!

Those long nails look ridiculous. I also don't see how anyone can get things done when they have those. I also find them creepy and weird so no not going to even consider dating someone that has these. If you do like them then that's your choice but not me.

I prefer medium/short but kept nice. I’m always on the go doing home projects or playing sports and I can’t have my nails getting in the way of that.

Semi long or long nails means she doesn't play video games. No self respecting gamer would scratch up a controller or give up fast reaction times by removing the use of their finger tips. it would also make drawing a pain and I only date gamer artists.

Super long nails are just kinda hilarious. Watching the cashier, whose job is to punch numbers, have nails so long she can't reach the buttons.

Very long or with too much bling could even be a deal breaker for me. They're unattractive. (IMHO)

I don't cut mine that often either to be honest. They're shorter now, but I like to keep them longer. I think they look better and I'm also too lazy to cut them. I only cut them when they start to feel uncomfortable ^_^

@KostasKouvalis Same, when I cut them when it bother me with my shoes and all. If not I don't (I do it much more often in summer though since I'm barefoot all the time).

I'm barefoot all the time except when it's cold and right now is it pretty cold in my house so I keep sock on.

It's funny because I like being barefoot, 'cuz it's more comfortable, but I don't like people looking at my feet because I'm afraid they'll laugh at them, especially when my nails aren't cut, because my parents have before. Usually, guys don't keep them long.

@KostasKouvalis In my family men keep them long cause they're too lazy to cut them and I think a lot of men are like that here (but they usually only wear sneakers even when it's crazy hot outside, I don't get why French like to wear pants and sneakers while it's 40 degree celsius outside).

Yeah, in Poland too. Long pants and dress shoes. My grandma would laugh at my shorts. Europeans laugh that we walk around in flip flops, but they dress funny too. Even in the Caribbean people wear long pants. This Italian girl said Europeans dress for the season, and not for the weather

I stopped caring and just wear what's comfortable, unless I go to some Muslim countries where they think it's gay and will throw rocks at me. Thankfully, it wasn't an issue in Turkey. I only brought some because I thought I would need them for the mosques, and I didn't, so I didn't even wear them. Not that I could anyways, because my luggage was lost for three days. :p

@KostasKouvalis No, long toes nails is common, especially cause people are lazy to cut it (I mean it's no big deal really).
European dress for being stylish and also cause they're actually extremely insecure about their body and all. Like women wear pants and long dress cause they're insecure about their pale and or big legs (even if they aren't big). And lots of men find shorts to be not stylish at all (and mock American for their cargo shorts) but when they wear shorts they wear shorts that are too tight...(expect some others that wear sports shorts but it's mainly young that does so and mainly Arabs, White men nearly always wear pants or too tight shorts).
Personally I wear shorts, dress and skirts when it's hot cause it's warm outside and people think it's weird, like Saturday it was 22 degree celsius outside so I was wearing a skirt and a t shirt and everyone around me had pants, boots and a sweater I still don't understand how they don't get too hot.

Muslim countries are really weird especially considering that Muslim in France are kind of the only one to actually wear shorts in France...

Yes, we have quite high standard. For example beauty standard for women is to be tall at least 170 cm, 5'7 but most women are quite shorts in France average height is like 163 cm / 5'4 for women and so they get very insecure about their height. They always praise me because I'm tall.

Yes, they do and European are very skinny in general so it doesn't help XD

Well my nail beds are. I cut my fingernails more often because they get uncomfortable, plus on my hands it looks weird. People, both guys and girls have made fun of me before in middle school, and others have told me I look like I've never worked a day in my life :p

Well there's nothing they can really do about that. My mom says I'm too short. I'm 5'10". I know, you're taller than most French girls. I don't know what the average height is here, but you would probably be considered slightly above average.

Yeah, I've had friends who refused to wear shorts. One wore a beanie in hot weather.

My phone is still fine, but it's a few years old and I have to charge the battery several times a day. At home, work and car is fine, because I have a charger, but if I go on vacation I won't be able to use it much.

I just bought a brand new laptop. It was $1000, but I only paid around $800 for it. I got sick and tired of having to repair my desktop every week. It's Windows XP, so I'm not surprised it kept crashing and glitching. But I have all my files on it, so I still use it for certain things, but it's really annoying, because some websites keep freezing.

Let's play. You got super long nails, by choice. You basically can't so shit, you can't do normal work, or almost no work at all in a efficient way.
