No, at some point inappropriate and stupid needs to be pointed out. There is no functional purpose for a girl to hang her ass cheeks out... apart from attention. It does not mean they need to be a victim of sexual harassment... but that choice of clothing will upset some people who do not wish to see their butt cheeks or their genitals hanging in public view.

This is not an issue in an adult setting - given its nature. However if this was say a public place where public indecency is a thing, then this is definitely inappropriate clothing.

This is not about upsetting personal feelings. There is always a standard or a norm in any setting... and when one a trend like this picks up... it becomes the new standard. People could care less if its one person doing... its problematic when all the people mindlessly think its okay to do it because its new fad or trend... which in this case sexualizes women more then common public decency would allow.

Ass cheeks are considered private genitalia. Do you walk around anywhere in public view with your ass cheeks showing? You do so, and right as you’re getting up to leave, the same girls walk right past you, and are leaving too, so you have to follow them and their ‘fat asses’ all the way out to the car, and as you open the door to get in you can hear your wife as she makes an incredibly loud and angry comment about how much of a pervert you are and how you humiliated her, and as you go to shut the door you hear the group of girls giggling loudly. You know you’re the joke.

I have worn shorts like that in two types of situations. The first is at the beach or a similar setting like at a big neighborhood pool, and in that situation it's mainly bc my girlfriends are also dressed that way and nobody wants to be the boring one. I still do that sometimes.

The other reason is bc I was in an unhealthy relationship and was pushed to dress as skimpy as possible so I ended up in all kinds of situations w this kind of shorts and a lot of times tight bare midriff tops etc. That was age 18 to 19. The reason I did it then was primarily to please a boyfriend who I guess liked showing me off.
