Well, you are paying for the brand more than the bracelet if it’s Cartier, so yes it’s more expensive than normal for what you will get. If you make and spend a lot of money like that sure but otherwise it’s not really a reasonable suggestion from just a girlfriend.

Yes I researched it and the brand name is where they get the price. It’s a mark up but the jeweler is renowned I guess. We’ve been together for about a year and a half so it wasn’t too extravagant. She is more materialistic than me I think but I really admire her and want her to feel special to me.

I wouldn't dare lmao. My dream wedding ring is $3500 and i wouldn't even pay that. I dont wear rings enough (or at all) to spend over 3,000 on it. I like earrings, bracelets and dog tags but wouldn't spend over $300 on that.

Cartier is a luxury brand and is marked up for what you get. It is a nice gift for someone you are very serious about although I have heard that they scratch easily.
