Why are people so obsessed with coloured eyes?

I have hazel eyes and yet i am not obsessed about my eye colour, it's just there. I can't exactly call it Coloured but it has a lot of green in it...

Anyway why are people so obsessed with blue, gray or green eyes? I mean those are all just eyes.. i heard QUOVES studio said that the eye shape matters not the eye colour lol

People who obsess over coloured eyes or want them, usually do so because coloured eyes are considered striking (due to their brightness.) It's about contrast and someone with brightly coloured eyes is seen as "rare" and stands out genetically. That's why in the UK at least, many people want to be tanned with coloured eyes. The eye colour contrasts with the skin tone and stands out / is striking to look at.

I personally think that features and facial harmony matter more for beauty. If you're already attractive, having coloured eyes won't change your attractiveness.

i am not. i keep hearinh that blue is nice and i just couldn't see it. there are attractive and unattractive caucasian just like any other tace.

there's one i saw here at the mall he is walkinh and holdinh his phone. he wore a business attire. he is screaminh hotness galore when pur eyes met. his eyes is just so attractive. i find it very striking. i just wanna follow him tbh and like stalk for a while 😁😁😁

Ok I have hazel eyes and people rarely even compliment it. Irl it's obvious that i have a lot of green in it and yeah some people notice it and say it's beautiful and hey yo!!! Hazel eyes are way more rare than blue but anyway

Yeah a lot of people with brown eyes give me eye compliments on my ‘color eyes’ I don’t really get it, they aren’t even colored just not brown, if they are really blue or something I get that appeal especially against tan skin or dark hair.

Even in my country, fair skinned people with Northern European features are given thought more positively but part reason is they are more educated. Shape and colour matter. Some colours are rarer and just more attention drawing. So a really bright blue eye colour stands out more than brown.

The same for green and grey they stand out more is all and that draws the attention and why people like them. More so when you look at the percentages of people that have the different colours.
