I know it is a weird question, sorry. I'm mixed, my dad is brown and my mom is white. As a kid I looked very obviously mixed, I looked like a like skinned black girl and had loose curls with some blonde in it. I'm an adult now and look whiter. People will see me as white or as "not really white but I don't really know what" I liked the way I was as a kid and identified more with that side of myself. How can I make this part of me stand out more? It may sound stupid but I feel like I've lost my identity and I have nowhere I belong to now

I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling with your identity. It's understandable to want to connect with a part of your heritage that you feel is being overlooked. Here are some suggestions that may help you feel more connected to your "ethnic" side:
1. Embrace your natural hair texture and consider wearing it in styles that showcase your curls. This can help you feel more connected to the physical traits that you associate with your dad's side of the family.
2. Explore fashion and beauty styles that are popular in the culture (s) that you identify with. This can help you feel more connected to your heritage and give you a sense of belonging.
3. Learn more about your cultural heritage by researching your family history, connecting with relatives, and immersing yourself in cultural events and traditions.
4. Connect with others who share your cultural background. This can be done through social media, cultural organizations, or even by reaching out to individuals in your local community.
Remember that identity is a complex and evolving concept, and it's okay to feel like you're still figuring out who you are. Keep exploring and experimenting until you find what feels right for you.
Get a tan, but really it's not about your skin tone, it's about how you are.

Hello, thank you for your reply. My dad is brown but is born in the same country my mom is and doesn't know his family further than is own mom who was already there too
Hmm. You can wear their fashion then, learn about their culture, cook their food. Things like that.
