Have some of you been barefoot their whole life?

Anonymous

I'm searching for people who have always been barefoot.

I was personally raised barefoot. My parents were sort of hippies and, in the countryside, it's not weird to go barefoot to school.

I've never thought about wearing shoes. I'm 24 and my feet have almost never been in a pair of shoes.

I'm working in my parents store so I never had to have a job uniform. I've been several times in big cities but I never tried to wear shoes. I can easily support cold temperatures and snow because my feet are sort of immunised.

I can just remember that I only wore shoes twice in my life.

First time was in Canada with my bestie because we tried ice skating. Those skates were the first "shoes" (if we can call them like this) I've never worn. We both had a good time but I realised that I will never be able to wear shoes because skates felt very strange on my feet. I wasn't able to feel the ground and having something around my feet felt very unusual to me. I would have walked barefoot on the ice if it was allowed.

Second time was actually because, last month, I wanted to try real shoes just to know how it really feels to walk with. I first try a pair of flip flop and I wasn't able to walk with that. Then I tried some boots but my feet didn't slip into them. I put some socks but it wasn't better. The only shoes I was able to walk with were a pair of sneakers. It was also the first time wearing socks for me and it was very funny because it felt like having a t-shirt on my feet.

I can't understand how everybody needs to wear shoes and I'm searching people who have always been barefoot like me.
