Mostly I'm into Salomon. But not just the brand, a specific trainer they make. The Xa Pro 3d, and not the latest version, but the one before which was a better build. I've had 4 pairs of them over the last 7 years. Orange (pic), black, green, and blue. It's just checks a lot of boxes: durable, versatile, comfortable, stylish, great traction.

Before that, I used to really be into New Balance, for many of the same reasons.
I can't stand (or spell) Sketchers.
I do have a lot of other brands, but not really in trainers. I've got a couple pairs of cowboy boots by Ariat, Moab 2 tactical boot by Merril that doubles as a motorcycle and workboot, some Chaco sandals, Vibram "five finger toe shoes" (The KMD/ Komodo).
Oh wait, I lied. I recently got a pair of HOKA trainers for work, and they are pretty great, like walking on clouds.
But not durable, I couldn't take these hiking on a regular basis or abuse them like my Salomons.

Current favorite is New Balance Made in US M990v5 size 14 WIDE (2E). I get grey and navy because it makes it easier to trade off each day. I formerly wore Brooks but these seem to last me longer.

  I love if a dude wears air force ones too as well as jordans, polo ralph lauren boating canvas sneaker, converse or “era”/“authentic” vans. I dont like their other styles

  @msc545 I used to buy them at the factory outlet store. They were factory seconds but you could not beat the price. One pair had a bad dye job and if I ran in the rain my feet would turn blue. I ran all my marathons in New Balance.

  Not once in my life have I ever checked the branding, nor would I know the quality really. All I know is buy whatever cheap trainers are on sale that I like the look of and that's it. And I rarely buy shoes in fact the last time was probably 5 years ago so they last long enough whatever they are.
