I am meeting this guy for the first time, he asked me to take me on a dinner, but I wanted somewhere familiar, so asked him we could just walk around the lake in front of my home.

I have been wearing this today. I wonder should I keep it on or get something less casual?

I also don’t plan to go on any more dates, because I move from here in a week. When he asked me out, I just decided to go on a date, to make sure I overcame my dating anxiety. He is handsome and an interesting person but I don’t see myself being in a relationship with him.

I actually think you look great. Depending on the terrain/speed, this may be much more appropriate AND appealing than a dress. I know this isn't hiking (well, I don't KNOW... but I'm assuming since you didn't say it was), but I've gone hiking with women before who showed up in summer dresses and it's like... how did you think this was going to play out? You look way more "yes, I should actually be here" than they did.

We are just having a first date today, he might be the one who dislikes me. I find him interesting but currently I am not sure if he’ll manage to interest me romantically. So far, he hasn’t managed. But imagine having your proverbial pants pulled down when your date says "oh by the way I'm moving in ten days" or whatever. Man, I'd be pissed! So, you helped your dating anxiety at the expense of some dude's dignity. You know damn well it was wrong or you would have told him beforehand. But you didn't because you know he would have told you where to go. My guess, if the date actually happened is that you didn't tell him anyway and you are just going to disappear.
