Why is wearing all black so attractive?

I’ve been basically wearing all black for two straight years now, and I’ve noticed a whole lot more eye Contact from girls, The amount of women that would stare at me in the hallways went up like 99%. I’m not saying every woman loves it but, before I started wearing all black I’ve never noticed women staring at me.

Black/dark colors are slimming, monochromatic outfits tend to stand out as an abnormality and therefore catch the eye, black is a pretty universal color for most all skin tones, and depending on how how you're styling it may be creating a standout/generally good aesthetic. But I'm also assuming you're in high school, and really, a high school dude wearing anything other than gym shorts tends to stand out a little.

I think it's because black looks clean because its mysterious so there is no room for criticism towards it.

Possibly it works as wearing pink works for girls. Like pink stands out from any background; black sort of does too except for black walls. I have been wearing black for a long time - anything else is flamboyant. I think it says you are matter of fact.

Black portrays confidence according to psychologists, but surprisingly I've gotten more looks wearing white. So I guess it's really about what looks best on you

Yeah I believe white has a confident appearance to it too I’ve worn black pants and plain white T-shirts.
