Have you ever lost a shoe in a rollercoaster ?

Once I lost a flip flop in a roller coaster. I had to spend the whole day with only one shoe.

When I was younger I wasn't aware that it was a bad idea to have flip flops in that kind of place

Nope because our theme parks have rules that if you are wearing loose shoes you have to take them off. They don't even allow you to wear hats or glasses and they especially don't allow you to take your phone on rides or any type of camera. Get caught and you get kicked out immediately.

It baffles me how other countries a lot of places don't have these rules when such loose items can potentially kill someone. I wonder how those people would feel if they found out their phone they took on the ride fell on a baby killing the innocent baby.
