Should Men's Underwear Have "Cup" Sizes?

The primary purpose of most men's underwear, other than boxers, is to provide genital support. Knowing that men vary in size quite a bit, not just in penis size, but also in the size of testicles, wouldn't it make sense to size the "pouch" to fit its cargo?

Currently, almost all men's underwear is sold by one measurement only - waist size. Yes there are underwear with larger and smaller pouches out there, but there's not much information on what size those pouches are, and there's definitely not a consistent way of communicating those sizes between manufacturers.

there's a reason why men's underwear fabrics have some flexibility and stretch already... these are not as "rigid" as bra's cups

also, all the package varies in size from time to time... and if you're actually a man, lol... you know what this means, and you should by now, know to work around it

if you really needed more room, you would have found it long time ago... like everyone else who needs more room, and comfort and support have done it... a "cup size" won't be able to fit everyone's needs the same way, lol

I didn't think men had to worry about this. Their clothes always seemed comfy. I asked my boyfriend and he said all that's need is the proper waist size... Crotch size has never been a problem... Boxers are always roomy...

Now I obviously have no clue what's it's like for brief wearers.

I personally prefer mine cradled in soft fabric, and I wear briefs for that reason. I generally don't have an issue with pouch size, but there are some that are too cramped and some that leave too much room and therefore don't provide enough support.

The question is mostly joking, but since men's underwear is not something you can try on in the store, it would be nice to have a bit of detail about pouch size.

I'm a briefs wearer myself and I much prefer the feeling of the "goods" bring cradled by soft white cotton XD.

I tend to wear mid rise or high rise tighty whitey briefs be them more American Styled ones with the fly opening like Fruit of the Looms or Y fronts like Jockey's.

I could never get use to boxers because they were too roomy thou admittedly I am on the small size so that probably made boxers too "roomy" and boxer briefs I think whilst providing the same support of regular briefs yet add a lot more hassle than your typical tighty whites just don't have.

I never needed to worry about cup size for underwear thou in the case of briefs but then I'm almost sure that the kind of mass produced tighty whites briefs I wear are made to support most men in general though considering how they fit in me I guess guys with a bigger set of "goods" might find them too tight or restrictive.

No. This, just like the "large" condoms would just be a way for men to try and brag that they have a big dick. In both cases, the item is so stretchy that larger sizes aren't really needed. And in the words of Bill Maher, "If you say you have a big dick, you probably don't."
