I still see that style every now and then. Everything feminine has gone away with this Gen Z and Millennial generations. Dresses, skirts, blouses, nice hairstyles, etc are not as common. Women all look like men now and slobs. They rarely ever look feminine.
I don’t really understand. How can they look in the mirror and see their purple dead falling out hair and 30 face piercings and go “yeah I look great.”
1. More women have shorter hair today than in years past.
2. Women with long hair tend to like to keep it straight and full, which I have to admit, is very attractive.
3. It's not easy to braid hair., and expensive. I know a woman who recently had her hair braided. It cost her US$100 and 5 hours sitting in a chair at the salon while her hair was braided.
@James_Likes_PPL Exactly. I can do French braids or Dutch braids on my wife's hair. Or her friends can do it. None of them go to a salon for such a thing unless it's for weddings.

It's beyond me too, haha. They look ridiculous.
There are a few possible reasons:
That sounds like black “braids”. I can braid my girlfriend hair in 15 min or less.

Why do you think it’s becoming less popular?
