Girls, If I dye my hair blonde, will I be treated differently?

I am considering dying my hair blonde (bleach) because I have always been a brunette and would like the change. I think I would this change. A friend of mine said that she actually noticed that people treated her differently after becoming a blonde. She went back to the brown that she had. Does anybody else have any experience with this. Will people treat you differently? Thanks.

Personally, I never liked being blonde. I always hated the way it looked and there is something to be said for choosing blonde over literally any other color in my opinion. Whenever I dyed my hair I’d pick a fashion color (ie blue, pink, purple, etc.) and you do get attention from hair like that, so maybe I’m biased lol
