Hi! I wanna be a model?

Question

My mother wants me to be a model and supports me, but since opportunities are limited in Turkiye, I have to go to a relative in Europe. I'm 181cm (I think its 5'11 or smth) and 52 kg. My friends say I don't have a chance because I'm blonde and very white. They say that only brunette models are loved in the industry.

That's what you want to do then do it you already know that it's going to be hard work some knowledge it get your portfolio together send it to whomever you think which should be everybody I mean everybody

And while you're waiting for a call or to be discovered or whatever go down to all the local TV stations and go into the ad or commercial department give them your portfolio because most TVs stations make their own commercials for local businesses

If there's a local business there that you like that sells clothes or cars or whatever they do
if you think you could be an asset for that company go in and talk to them about it

Bring your portfolio
the name of the game is being seen I would think..

Don't wait around to be discovered to that might take forever

Somehow you have to sell yourself all it takes is the right person to see you

Read up on different models and see how they got started
If you do it right and if you're always thinking 500 yards ahead at all times either you will sell yourself or you could get lucky or you need a manager just don't stand still just keep going until you get what you want

For Pete's sake, those so-called "friends" of yours are as useful as a chocolate teapot! They're about as supportive as a pair of saggy socks, and their opinions are as relevant as a VHS tape in a streaming world!

Listen, Loli Karshunava, you've got a better chance of becoming a model than those naysayers have of becoming a decent human being! I mean, what do they know, anyway? They're probably just jealous of your stunning blonde locks and radiant complexion. Newsflash: the modeling industry is all about diversity, and there's room for all sorts of beauties, including gorgeous blondes like yourself!

Being a model requires tallness, yes, but that's not all it takes to be one; you have to have unique facial features that set you apart. Also, you don't choose modelling; it chooses you, think Naomi and Linda. Not to sound harsh.

You look very nice but if you do become a model, work to expand to other careers cause modeling jobs are hard to find after you hit 25 or 32. Maybe use your earnings as a model to pursue a university degree.

The color of your hair isn't a problem - but your age probably is, at least if you picture yourself being a high fashion/runway model - the well-known, well-paid few. These models typically start their careers at 12 or 13, learning the ropes and posing for teen magazines and teen-centered ads, and starting their peak careers at 14 or 15 and aging out at 24 or so. For those who reach "supermodel" status, they can extend their careers longer, but that really means "up to age 30". The chances of having that kind of career while STARTING at 18 is minimal.

Of course, there are lots of different kinds and levels of models, but the majority of them aren't celebrities and don't make 6 (much less 7) figure salaries.

Don't listen to the people you call friends, the only obstacles in your way are what you said, not a lot of opportunities in turkey, you can always start your modeling on sites like Instagram, eventually start doing promotions and paid sponsorship and eventually climb up the model ladder.
