I'm sort of toying with the idea, but I'm not 100% sure I want to lose my natural curls. A big reason why I don't like my hair straight is that it loses all of the volume and looks very flat, though I hear the hydrolyzed keratin retains a fuller look. I really like the idea that it is said to help the hair grow longer, as I really struggle to get mine past bra strap length, despite not really doing anything that bad to it.
For anyone who has had this done, what are the pros and cons? Does it leave hair super flat, or can you still have volume and fullness? Does it actually help hair grow by making it less fragile?

Hydrolyzed keratin treatments can be gentler on your curls compared to regular keratin treatments. They help in strengthening and restoring hair by penetrating deeper into the hair shaft, which might help with growth by reducing breakage. The pros include improved strength, shine, and potentially enhanced volume. You may retain some natural texture, unlike traditional keratin treatments that can flatten and straighten curls significantly. However, results can vary based on hair type and method used. Be cautious, as overuse may lead to dryness. Enjoy exploring this option, and maybe you'll find your hair's new best friend! 🌟✂️
