Do you have a favourite going out outfit?

Well for an evening I have a nice dress and heels. In summer if it's hot I like denim shirts and a t shirt or bikini top if I want to get a suntan.

Black jeans.

White slim fit cotton poplin button up dress shirt with a spread collar.

Black Justin cowboy boots.

Silver and black striped tie.

Black wool blend blazer.

Rolex Daytona watch left wrist.

Silver bracelet with black leather right wrist.

Why the formal look? That's what I wear to the office in Manhattan on a Friday. At the end of the day, step off the train and into a wine bar to meet friends. Off comes the jacket and tie, roll up the shirt sleeves, and I'm in black jeans with a white shirt and black boots. Instant sharp casual. If we want to hit a dive bar later, I have a black and tan rugby shirt in my backpack.

I am married now, but when I was dating, I had a first date "uniform." I purchased a set of clothes which was casual but very nice. I only wore it for first dates so that it would stay in excellent condition. If my first date was after a day in the office, I would show up in a coat and tie. Otherwise, I wore "the uniform" and I never needed to pause and think about what I was going to wear.

Now, I have three or four casual shirts with mesh venting, and they ae very comfortable. I wear those with a pair of tan pants and I feel fine.
