I learned on the job. That was my face double I was making up to see if I liked it. I don't know, does it suit me? A little more red in the cheeks maybe? ๐๐คฃ

I took stage makeup in college, and I was pretty good at it since I'm pretty detail oriented and an artist at heart.. Haven't used it ever since though..
Yeah, it takes a special talent and spirit to do that job for any length of time.
Yeah, you got that right.. NoDecision to take lightly..
I see what you did there. ๐
Thanks for MHO!.. ๐
Most women likely teach themselves, copy others or watch socials nowadays 😁😀🥳 I grew up in the 2000s and 2010s
Some ladies looked very good growing up doing eyeliner ๐๏ธ๐๏ธ lipgloss. Foundation - and likely laser hair removal by their 20s at salons or themselves at the shower for all I knew ๐ฟ ๐ช razor
Of course, I never really had female friends, more acquaintances, so hell, fashion mags and GAG and probably even Reddit are all I've known of in my 20s for what women got up to in their 20s, shrug ๐๐๐๐คญ๐ ๐๐ ๐ช๐ช๐
@nodecision - are you happy with how you learn makeup in your lifetime aka your key 20s years especially? I think eyelash curlers and pluckers look mediaeval and frightening genuinely ๐ฑ๐ถโ๐ซ๏ธ
*medieval (sigh, always autocorrect never corrects me wrong) lol ๐ ๐ that time deliberately "lol"
@mysteriousnicholas Makeup has vastly improved since the 70s. In fact, most girls from the 70s didn't wear makeup. They went natural, or used a minimum of any makeup.
Sheer torture. Like having your eyelids turned inside out and held with pins.

@Meatballs I did wonder if a little red in the cheeks sounded "cheeky" lol if women in their 20s were reading this going "uhh, is that a double meanings there" lol ๐๐
Anyways back to ๐ and eyeliner ๐ ๐๐๏ธ โ๏ธ moving along moving along @Meatballs lol and warm wishes @nodecision as you're living your dreams / your dream job, good for you ๐ฏ

I'm 57 like I go around flirting with young women.. kid I have tshirts older than you.. I don't come to this message board to try to get laid... I'm not looking for anyone for anything but friendship fun and insight. And do the universe a humongous favor.. learn how to say something that people can understand and Don't go out for an open mic at a comedy club either... You are as funny as a colonoscopy
@mysteriousNicholas I have changed jobs and now apply "makeup" to cakes as a cake decorator. I follow my own vision instead of just doing what some movie director wants me to make.
@Meatballs I didn't see any flirting, just a joke. "Cheeky" Good one. Be nice now.
Well I didn't say that.
Your cake design gets scarier and scarier! 😳😱🫣
