I was actually going to ‘seesaw’ about how 1) School has a right to implement its own rules and 2) You are an adult and can make your own decisions including what you put on your body / do with your body.

I’m heavily leaning towards the school even more because while yes you are 18 , you still have under 18 peers. Like wearing a scandalous outfit or something vulgar and graphic would not be acceptable.

We can argue about Universities and Colleges, just felt I would voice how you aren’t the only ones in the school and you agreed to the policy set forth by the school so please respect it. Rules suck, it just is what it is sometimes.

No, because if you want education, housing, employment, or anything else from someone, then you have to follow their rules.

I disagree. I think you can wear whatever you want outside of school as long as it’s legal and acceptable in your area. But in school, there are still other students who aren’t 18 yet and the 18 year olds wearing whatever they want can be a distraction and will undoubtedly cause complaints from the younger students. “She gets to wear a miniskirt and crop top! Why can’t I? That’s so unfair!” It’ll just cause problems.

Disagree. When you go to school, you agree to follow the school's rules. Thst includes what classes you go to and when, when you est lunch, and following the school's dress code. Once you leave the school building, you can wear whatever you want, but when in school, you follow their rules. Doesn't matter how old you are.

No. As a member of a community with minors AND the prime directive of "not disruptive to the educational process" it's cool to circumscribe dress.
