People pick up on more than just the number on a measuring tape. Confident posture, long legs or neck, slim build, certain clothes, and even shoe style can all create a “taller” impression. Standing straight, making eye contact, and moving with confidence makes you seem more statuesque, so others just assume extra centimeters or inches 😄

Women tend to not have as much variance in height as men do. And have shorter legs relative to torso length than man men do - hence the appeal of high heels to women as they balance apparent leg length to torso length.

If you are one of those women who do have long legs and wear high heels than probably the thought might go "long legs -she's tall". Could see that happening.

🤷‍♂️ You've really given us nothing to go on. I'm 6'5" but i'm frequently guessed as taller i think because i'm pretty gangly. I think it gives the impression that i'm taller than i am. Maybe that's why with you?
