most girls do wear at least a little bit every day. most girls I know, including myself, wear a good amount. This means another girl can probably tell that the makeup is there but it isn't jumping out in your face. It enhances the features without changing her entire look. That's what I strive for and I think most girls do.
This is usually done with eyeliner and mascara in moderate amounts, maybe a little blush or bronzer/concealer.
I wear concealer and some eyeliner and mascara. I enhance my eyebrows a little bit with a pencil because I have a little bare spot that doesn't grow in so they look better lightly penciled. (but they aren't too skinny or anything) maybe a tiny bit of blush/lipbalm sometimes. and that's basically it.
i don't think I look drastically different without makeup and neither do my friends. when I wear you can tell that I wear if you are looking at me but it doesn't jump out at you.
funny thing is when I wear a full face of makeup for fancy occasions, I get told that my makeup doesn't look much different or heavier than normal, even though I apply a lot more.
I'd say most do, but assuming that you're around a big enough group of people (as in you go to college or your job is working with the public, etc.), you do see girls without make-up on a daily basis.
The pictures of "celebs without make-up" are purposely terrible just so they can get page hits or sell copies of their tabloid. Money. It wouldn't be very compelling to people if they showed the pictures where celebrities look just as good without make-up.
Oh and no, you're supposed to wash the make-up off before you go to bed and it usually comes off when you're just washing your face. I'd say the majority of girls do that.
You're supposed to wash your face and then reapply every morning. Makeup isn't good for your skin, so sleeping with it on is a big no-no that leads to all sorts of skin problems.
It completely depends on the girl. I've known some women who hate makeup. I've also known some who think they can't be seen without it. Personally I just love the types of looks makeup can create - I think of it as an artistic tool, like hairdye and clothing, and so I use it to match my mood when I feel like it, but I don't really do the "natural" thing on a daily basis. If I'm not doing makeup for a specific look, I leave it off altogether.
i disagree with the anonymous dude directly below me; makeup is like real-time photo-editing software; when done well, it can make ANYONE look better, even those that already look good! :)

Wow! I'm surprised of how many girls answered and said "no - they don't wear make-up"
I'm surrounded everyday by woman that all wears make-up - everyday.
I wear make-up everyday. Everyday foundation. Everyday eye liner, every day eyeshadow and everyday blush. During the day its light and during the evening (only if I go out ) I wear darker make-up and eye mascarra. But apparantly I don't need to use make-up cause It looks the same with and without. I don't know. I never used to wear make-up everyday and I only started wearing foundation with a moisterizer about a year ago. Every night I wash my face with a face-wash. I don't NEED to apply make-up. I have a healthy skin. I'm 28 but people often guess me at 18. I make-up within 2 minute. But yeah..
I don't wear make-up on a day--to-day basis. I find it too restrictive, and it bores me quite quickly ^^'
I put just a bit when I want to dress very nicely, or go to a party. I hate putting stuff on my skin, so foundation/concealer/whatever is out of question. I think the heaviest make-up I do is eye shadow, mascara and lip balm for dry lips :) When I feel like going out, I add one or two hints of glitter on my eyes (very light, I don't want to look like a flashing road sign ^^' )
Since I'm not putting anything on my skin, I don't really need a thorough cleaning with special products. The usual routine (washing with water, and some scrubbing soap) is enough.
I've struggled for years to get rid of acne and suffered a lot because of it, now that it's gone I'm not about to get pimples/black heads by covering my skin with concealer.
I learned to appreciate my face the way it is, now I don't need make-up to feel pretty :)
Pretty much any decent looking girl over 18 you see will be wearing some sort of make-up (there is the whole thing called no make-up, make-up which is wearing make up but having it look as natural as possible). I wear make-up everyday, I wear concealer/ powder so it stays on my face, mascara, eye liner, eye shadow, highlighter (makes the skin look glowy/ shimmer), lipstick/ lip balm. I will either wear all of it or a combination of some of those products, it is very bad for your skin to leave make-up on all night so majority of girls will use make-up remove to take it off and then wash their faces.
I would say that most girls do, but it's probably not much higher than 70% of girls, if that.
Personally, I wear makeup most of the time. I don't cake my face with powder unless my skin looks terrible for whatever reason (usually a girl will break out more when it's her time of the month, just fyi). I usually just put on a little mascara and eyeshadow that is lighter than my skin. When I wear powder I wash it off at night before bed but when I just have mascara and eyeshadow on I wash it off in the shower. I shower about every 36 hours so it's not that much of a difference.
I wear make up just when I need to leave the house, which is almost every day. Just the basic stuff, but when I'm bored I put in the eyeliner and eyeshadow as well. I don't wear lipstick, just a lipbalm everyday or gloss when I go out.
I wash it off every evening, no matter what time I get home. It's really bad if you let your make up on during the night, your skin can't breathe and what have you. I clean my face every morning and every evening, I don't touch it a lot, but still I get some spots here and there and I just feel more confident when they're hidden :)
It is a skill to learn how to apply makeup so that it looks natural and not obvious that you're wearing it, which might be why it's so surprising to see actresses who can afford fantastic makeup artists without their makeup on. Any woman that cares about her skin would never sleep with makeup on (or work out with it on, for that matter). It does need to be reapplied every morning.
I always wear makeup when out in public. It doesn't take me long to apply it and it boosts my confidence tremendously, so I can't imagine being without it.
i wear makeup most of the time. I wear foundation, eyeliner/eye crayon, mascara, blush and lipstick. And if I have time I wear 3 color eyeshadow. Why? cause I love working with makeup and because it makes me feel great about myself and you never know who you will meet. But when I'm sick I don't wear makeup.
I usually wear it every day but not too much. When I have exams or am really stressed I'm fine going without it and having people see me lol. I spend most of my time/money on skincare products rather than makeup... my ideal goal would be to get really healthy, nice looking skin so I can wear as little makeup as possible. We wash it off before we sleep, this is important as leaving makeup on overnight can actually make our skin worse.
Probably every two days. Every week is not the same. Some weeks I'll wear it every other day, or none at all. It just depends on what I feel like, what I'm doing, where I'm going.
Most girls wear it...even though a lot of the girls on here don't.
I wash it off before I go to bed though. It's bad for your skin if you don't. It builds up bacteria on your face, and it causes acne. Plus it feels gross to wake up with it on.
we have to wash it out or we'll break out and won't have the same supple skin for the remaining time of our lives. lol
we don't just paint over it every morning!
I would wear some make up, minimal if there isn't an important place to go and I'm just running to the market.
I don't wear makeup every day or even every other. I wear it when the mood strikes. A lot of girls wear it every day without fail, but almost all of them wash it off before bed because leaving it on is bad for your skin.
I don't wear makeup because I don't see the need and because it's bad for your skin, ages you faster.

I only wear mascara and chapstick everyday.. so yeah I wear makeup every day, well except Sunday! xD
