Their are hate mongers in the feminist movement and their is an alarming lack of protest against them within the movement. However every woman needs to be aware of what is going on in terms of inequality and open hostility toward women in the world today I would like to know how a woman in say Afghanistan can get a good paying job or even an education or for that mater. The same can be said for Africa and the Arab world as well as many other counties. Their is still a long long way to go.

You really should get out more. I know tons of women who can change tires and they are smaller than me. The idea that women shouldn't operate a chain saw shows a very very low opinion of women. As to giving your a massage or cooking something for you, you know as well as I do the real issue with that is not weather the woman is being caring or not it weather she sees it as her place to cook or make a man comfortable. If a woman cooked for me once in a while fine if she does it all the time alarm bells are going to start going off as to why she's doing that.

There are scum bags in any movement, all movements have them. There are women who hate men in the feminist movement who are exactly as you say and very likely a lot of them are insane. The ideals of the movement are beyond reproach. Equality and freeing ourselves from dehumanizing gender roles is needed badly.

Feminists are women who woke up to the fact they were being screwed over. They saw what a lot of women don't want to see. That women are capable of independent action that they can own homes , invent things, work on cars , fly and own air craft and that they don't need men for any thing. Simple as that, if that frightens you or upsets you you should look at your own world view not at feminists who are simply healthy women behaving in a healthy intelligent manner.

No their not "different" I don't buy that now and I never did. I know women who have never talked about their feelings in their life and plenty of them. As to gender roles I don't believe in them either this is all an artificial construct to segregate men and women into two classes of people based on the shape of their body, nothing more.

Look, for those of you talking about "feminists" that just beat on men, they're not real feminists. Feminists want the world to recognize the strange and sometimes inhumane treatment women receive all over the world. Those who have been abused by men and then bash them constantly and call themselves "feminists" are just hurt souls seeking for redemption. Opening a door for someone is fine BUT if you open it because of their sex you immediately make an issue out of their sex putting the shape of their body above who they are as a person. Chivalry stinks, and it's wrong.

Hi, I feel more men should read this article. I agree on most of the things he says in his article about women but I also think he told many undesireable men some true things. I feel that no one should be treated beneath anyone nor men or women. I feel a relationship should be respectful and equal. And when he talks about pretty women I believe its not about pretty it about a lot of other things. I am a mature pretty woman but I wish I was seen on the inside not by my looks.

Feminist values are about equality I support equality. If feminists said something against nursing for women I don't blame them there should be no mens or womens jobs only jobs and that's what they were trying to accomplish.

There is nothing self aware about a feminist woman. Feminists do not take responsibility for their actions and the entire movement is based on the concept of male oppression. A real woman is accountable for her own position in the world...so much to learn, but your young. You should do some research.
