You can't steal someones partner... unless you are referring to kidnapping. But stealing is usually applied to belongings and not people. Since I don't own my partner he cannot be stolen from me. I personally would never blame the other person because they didn't make a commitment to me. If the person who made a commitment to me doesn't even expect me then how can I expect someone else to and better yet; why does it become someone else's job to police my partner so they don't cheat? If your partner is a creep who doesn't respect you and wants to cheat it's good to have that exposed hopefully before you have kids together.

For the record, you can not steal anyone. People aren't cars or watches. You can't walk into their house, put a bag over their head, and they're yours.
You can, however, try to entice them with your good looks, awesome personality, or money. If they ditch their partner for you, it clearly means you're a better option for them.
Can you blame yourself for being better than their partner? Of course not!!
If you're fabulous and there is a guy out there who's willing to leave his partner for you? Great! You've succeeded! Game over!!

@Pilulu the post wasn't satire; the take was satire. The opinion owner was disagreeing with the take (which was about how it's wrong to steal another person's SO presented in a sarcastic way). If the opionion owner said "I disagree, because it is wrong to steal another person's SO", that would be not understanding the take was satire. I'm not entirely sure why I'm explaining this, just bored I guess.

You can not "steal" anyone. That person was obviously looking for something else, and decided to end the other relationship. I don't condone cheating, but if someone finds someone they think they have a better connection with, I don't see the issue
