Are Girls bad at communicating? Or are Guys bad at understanding what Girls mean?

So as a guy I've had my fair share of moments through text or moments face to face with girls where a girl has thrown one of the statements we as guys know all to well that have hidden meaning we don't understand what they're trying to get at we think we do but we really don't, so it's a question of is it on us as guys to figure out what these girls want? Or do girls need to figure out how to express themselves in a better way?

While I think that while girls should express their feelings better since as guys we understand girls are a little more emotional than us. But the reality is I believe that as guys we need to figure out how to read them and the way we talk to them is why we get these moments of "What does she really mean?" we end up thinking that because we say things to them that they take literally for example one I personally realized I had been doing that caused me to get these moments I would say to girls "Maybe we could do something some other time" and because of that I would get girls replying with "Maybe" Not because they were not really interested but because I had said maybe which caused them to also say maybe, what this example shows is that as guys we are not making things clear to these girls because of that we are getting unclear responses in return. So as guys if we don't want to get moments of what does she really mean we need to stop putting ourselves in situations where these girls are going to reply with things we don't know how to interpret.

Sorry kid, you're way off the mark on this one.

If a woman doesn't understand a general expression like "maybe we should hang out next time" then that's her problem. If she wishes to be offended by that expression, it's her problem. The statement is self-explanatory. There is no need to dramatize is by responding with a "Maybe" text because all that does is add drama to a neutral statement.

Why is it a man's responsibility to understand a woman? Understand her feelings, hidden messages, double-meanings? Are you kidding? The problem is that you're NOT kidding and that's what's fucking up women in our generation. It's been professed to us since birth in this country that communication is Key. Men ARE better at communicating. We say what we mean. Women think of communicating as "talking more and expressing feelings." This is incorrect. Buying into their notion of Communication will only send you head-first into their world of nonsensical drama.

Yet you're telling me that Men should willingly plunge themselves into that world? Sorry kid, that just doesn't make sense. You can't pamper a spoiled child if you want him to behave himself. Treat him like an adult. Show him where the boundaries are. Make sure there are repercussions for his mistakes. It's the same with any human being, child or adult, man or woman. Trying to "understand" them is just your way of pampering them. Don't do it. It ruins them, and it ruins us as guys because you're leaving a spoiled brat behind when you two finally break up. Or, worse, you're creating a spoiled brat that you'll have to live with once you're married.

Don't do it man. Treat them like adults. Every man should treat a woman like an adult... like an equal... after all, that's what they want, right? Equality?

Both. Girls always say things that can be taken one way or another. It's those weird girlfriend tests that girls do. I myself don't do them because I find it cruel to let a guy just think he knows what you mean. or confuse him completely. I hang with a lot of guys, actually I have no girlfriends. I say what I mean and mean what I say. unless I say otherwise. We need to get away from our little girl ways but at the same time. Girls will always be this way. Especially since now a days the world revolves around what's between our legs. There's so many women in this world. Some of us "control" more than one of you. You just don't always know it. But in order to truly understand what she means you have to know her.

You can't change others, only yourself, so begin with that. Women are generally speaking very ambiguous as far as "dating" is concerned, it's won't change so deal with it. Girls will replay with answers open to interpretation, because they intent them to be.

Both. Lmao. Men are from mars, women from venus. I like being really unfront and not afraid of confrontration. My gf? dances around the words. I tell her 'COMMUNICATE WITH ME!' and she's in complete silence. She's afraid of communication or altercations. If there's something she doesn't understand, she doesn't ask! "What do you mean". She just swallows it and pretends to understand, it annoys me so much.

Girls need to learn to communicate better. We use random words and body language to try to express the many thoughts that are running through our heads. That is because we over think. And the truth is we do not even know what we are saying sometimes but we expect guys to know what we are trying to say. It's not fair. In my opinion, girls are the ones who need to communicate better.
