She always initiates text, but takes hours to respond?

Hi, i met this girl about a week ago (~2 mins) and got her number. She always initiates conversation every day (usually asking how my day is going), however when i respond, she takes forever to get back to me. I really like her and felt a connection. I want to hang out with her, but i dont know if she is interested. Usually when girls like me, they dont initiate conversation, however she does it every day. Does she just want to be friends, or is she subtly giving me hints.

She's waiting for you to say something super interesting. If she asks you how your day went or is going, instead of giving her something generic, say something interesting that happened to you during the day or ask her something. Or next time, surprise her with a text. Ball's in your court, man :)

I get what you are saying, she might be busy. However, This is through phone, and i met her in person. She always has her phone with her, so why does she take forever every day? She can't always be that busy.

Maybe she is a bit introverted, so she is not so talkative all the time, I guess she needs some time for herself (thinking, fantasising, daydreaming etc).
