Guys, what´s your opinion about a girl who never initiates texting?

If you started a convo 3x, she always responded immadiately and was asking you also questions, but never started to chat by herself.

She liked some of your statuses and pictures on fb and also says hello with smile to you when she sees you.

Would you interpret she is interested?

This is how it´s going with a guy I really like. The issue is that he didn´t contact me for 3 days and I´m starting to be nervous. Is it me who is supposed to initiate the conversation now?

no opinion really, usually if that is the case for me, its because I always initiated conversation first and she is now used to the pattern of me contacting first. I can that is the case easily because if I don't send her the good morning texts she will complain hahaa

Is it likely that he lost interest in a meantime? We haven´t met since his last text, maybe I said something wrong.. If I would send him a text, would he think I´m desperate? How am I supposed to proceed? I want to show him I´m interested, but not needy

he could've either lost interest or he lost confidence/motivation into initiating first, probably feels as if he is getting nowhere with you. you won't look needy/desperate if you send him a text first for a few times. just keep it casual and it will be perfectly fine. if you are really interested in him though, why not go and ask him to a cup of coffee or something? see how he pertains to the idea.

it is possible that he is getting the feeling it is not going anywhere - he acts very nervous around me, he even avoided me once when I was hanging out with my friends, but smiles widely when I greet him.

hmm it sounds like he is losing his confidence, he may be getting a false hint that you are not interested in him so he doesn't wanna look like a fool and is slowly backing away. if you want him to pursue you then you gotta throw him an obvious bone, get his confidence back up and make him feel reassured into pursuing you.

thanks for your answer, i texted him, he immadiately texted back, but then he stopped. i know he is visiting his parents, so i don´t want to overthink :)

hahaa its all good. just go with the flow and your own gut, in my experience, girls tend to overthink a lot, guys do too, but girls beat that ratio by a little more lol.

he contacted me again and he mentioned some places in his home town.. so I wrote him that I´m subscribing his services as a guide and he just told me that he is not local anymore.. I´m getting crazy of this guy.. I´m trying so hard, why can´t he just help me

am yeah he can still be interested, but I'd worry if a girl didn't start convo's, and I'd worry if I was being annoying for starting them all the time, so yes go start the freaking convo, you have nothing to lose, we guy can be slow don't wait!

but when he initiated, I showed a lot interest.. i just hope i didn´t mess it up with too long messages and with doubletexting :(

If you just send him a casual text, then you shouldn't seem to desperate, through I've know people to text me that they miss me (in a joking sort of way), if I haven't texted them as much as they have liked. I didn't find it desperate but I was crushing on them so yeah. So if he likes you it won't be a problem.

he is not very talkative thorugh messages. yesterday i "liked" his profile pic, but still not contacting me. I know he traveled outside of the city to visit his parents, so i don´t want to bother

definitely not trying to be mean but if that's the case maybe he's not as into you as you are to him? I would suggest that if he really likes you give it a couple more days and if he still doesn't text then try to forget about him.

but the thing is that we didn´t even had date, we´ve known each other from work for years superficially and started to talk on one party a week ago. He is so shy in person, I was even surprised that he approached me.. how frequesntly do guys usually texting at the beginning?

The guy im talking to texts me for hours but he is never the one to start I am but he just keeps texting and texting after that. since he is so shy maybe hi approaching you was really scary for him so maybe he's taking it slow so that he doesn't scare you off

Yeah sometimes that happens. I would probably take it that she's interested in me but not crazy over me. Which is fine I suppose, because the fact that she replies really fast, and is curious about me shows that she does like me.

Her initiating conversation is the icing on the cake but it's really quite fine without it. :)

Oh and it depends on your appetite for waiting for him. If you're a slow dating person like me, I'd wait a week before texting her again. That is pretty lukewarm tbh, but it's how I like it.

Text him first from time to time... right now I´m doing all I can not to text her to see if she is going to text me first... It sucks always being first , you never know if she is replying just out of politeness. So text him from time to time.

good for you and it´s good that he was thinking about you. We usually end conversation to make you want more , like show business and not to be to needy... just wait few days for him to contact you first and from time to time , like after 4-5 texts , you contact him... good luck ;)

I'm really impatient in determining if someone is interested or not. I just assume no reciprocation = no authentic interest and move on -- I can ask 5, 10, 20 girls on a walk or on the commute home from work and get a date or two out of it. Why wait for someone? (and I have little patience for social media games, just flat out ignore them)

If it's a few times I wouldn't think anything of it but if it's a regular trend I would probably take it as her not being very interested.

Chasing should be a mutual activity of back and forth not 1 person always after the other.
