GIRLS: What are some reasons you may pretend to ignore your crush?

Today I was walking with my friends behind this girl I like who was walking with her friends. She used to always notice me and wave hi or something like that and we'd always glance. Now we aren't glancing as much anymore and she just sort of looked at me and past like she didn't even know me.

Any ideas?

I have a really bad habit of doing this, tbh I don't really know why!
I suppose it could be: avoiding awkward eye contact, keep him wanting more ( if that makes sense), trying to act natural / not acting stalkery and trying not to look at him incase he doesn't like you back!
I honesty don't really know why I really do it, I think it's just a natural thing girls do!

We pretend to ignore you to see your reaction. Will you try to get our attention? Will you look hurt? Jealous? Drooling? LOL.
Next time you see this girl, say hi! Just give her a wave, maybe chat with her.
Trust me, even though you think she doesn't like you, she probably does... She wouldn't have shown that interest in the beginning.
