Why am I so attracted to guys that are punks?

I am not talking about emo/punk I am talking more about guys who are punks. I kinda consider my current boyfriend more of the punk type. He used to get into tons of trouble with drugs and the police, getting arrested like every other day and etc... even famous guys, that are in bands I find super sexy. Another example is fred durst from limp bizkit, he's a punk. I know everyone has their own type of style that they are attracted to but I just wonder why I like these kinda guys. I am so turned on by them.

Can someone help figure out why?

They are bad boys and very independent. This independence and risk taking type turns you on. Why? They fight for what they believe in, and they are not predictable. They're exciting to be with because you don't know what's going to happen next.
