I always see my crush like other people's tbh's (totally random people that I know he's not good friends with) and so I decided to do one on my snapchat but he didn't slide up. Last night a friend of mine did one (her older brother is friends with him) and he slid up on hers but he barely knows her. He was also the second person to view my story so I don't think he was busy or anything. I slid up on his tbh one time so I also don't think it's a 'neither one of us has ever slid up on something so this would be awkward' kind of thing. He's also not shy at all (like I said he asks for tbh's from random people all the time on instagram). I just want to know if he actually hates me and wants nothing to do with me so I can stop wasting my time and energy.

He most certainly doesn't hate you, no reason to even think that. Him being in your TBH would leave him vulnerable so he's purposely making sure you guys don't end up each others TBH (to be honest, to whoever asked)...

Most likely, he's aware of your infatuation with him as I generally can tell really well when a girl has a crush on me.

I've been in the odd situation of having a girl really crushing on me but only 'liking' her while I was more interested in other girls at the time. It can create an awkward situation when you're around each other if you're unsure of your feelings for her but very aware she has strong feelings for you.

Hope this helps to get inside the mind of a male, we really have no idea what is going on in his head. If you two are around each other much; he's most likely aware of your crush and him not acting on it shows he either has no interest in a relationship with anyone at the moment or is indecisive about his feelings for you.

No, he doesn't hate you, it's the complete opposite but what's happening here is that his ego is influencing how he shows this. Since the ego operates in a non logical way, what you interpret as potential hate, is in fact the complete opposite. Some of the unspent emotional energy from not truly expressing his true feelings, is spent by giving attention to people he cares less about, but who are either close to you, or noticeable by you.

This doesn't mean you won't be wasting your energy by continuing though. In today's culture, people are busy trying to protect themselves, appear cool, and / or are not in tune with their own subconscious desires or their own ego.
