Have you ever felt a magnetic pull towards someone? That feeling where you just know they're experiencing the same thing? Your heart thumps, time stands still around you and you just have to be close to them. I'd love to hear your story and how it turned out for you!

I've had this with someone recently and it's the first time I can ever remember feeling this so intensely.

I've been crushing on my best friend for two years. At first I hated myself for developing feelings for her, especially since I was friends with her brother and my guy best friend known her longer than I've had so it could get awkward. But after a while I couldn't reject my feelings for her. Whenever I'm around her I become a bumbling idiot because she's so beautiful and all of those things. I love when she texts me and I love when I'm around her. I really can't stop thinking about what she's doing rn or when she's going to text me or does she like me back. After a while it really start to eat you up inside.

i have this friend that i met over a year ago and I've liked him ever since i met him. recently we have been together more because we work together this summer. Every time im around him i just laugh uncontrollably. i try to act cool around him but i can't help laughing and smiling because i just like him so much. i know that he likes me as a friend, and he's called me pretty before. hopefully i can tell him how i feel soon.

I was working out side I found a sign that said "I can't help but to fall for you" for fall time decoration. So I brought it inside passed by a girl that ask what I had, and I said jokingly that "fate has left me a message i wonder what it means" then she got sad and never talked to me again. Yes, of course.
In the beginning the feelings of the possibilities and the anticipation of the future are as strong as the simple attraction of them. It's called NRE - new relationship energy or emotion. It does wear off in time, sometimes a short time, sometimes it lasts awhile. It also clouds your thinking and makes you neglect red flags, you overlook things that can be a negative down the road. So temper it with some solid objectivity.
Some folks live on NRE, going from one new relationship to another, bailing out when it fades.

back than we were hanging out at a drive -in like in the movies. i wanted to go with my friends, she wanted to stay home. i get pissed and left. tried to say i was sorry after word. but did no good. But i was young and wild back than. just a year out of. the Army and Vietnam
