Guys: Playful smack - teasing or wrong?

I was with a guy friend of mine the other day and I playfully smacked him on the shoulder with the back of my hand. (We had been talking about women vs. men and he jokingly said something like "Yeah. Women should stay in the kitchen," and that's when I lightly smacked him).

Would you feel uncomfortable if a girl did this to you? If it made you uncomfortable, would you say something? (Do you think he'd say something to me or just let it go?) He's never said anything about it (I do it sometimes when he makes similar comments), but my mom saw it and was like "you shouldn't hit anyone!" I thought I was just being playful, but maybe not. =( Opinions?

I'm fine with it when its lightly, sometimes my friend gets carried away. Face turners sting. Keep it playful no full swings and you should be fine.

I think it depends on the guy, but if you're kind of gender-joking like that then I think it's fine; I'd be okay with it.
