Guys: Does drunk flirting show your true intentions?

A guy I've known for about a month or so was all over me this weekend after we had both been drinking (him much more than I). Since it was homecoming, this happened 2 days in a row, not just a one-time thing.

He would hug me, hold me from behind, put his arm around my shoulders, my waist, on my butt; he would lean his forehead against mine sometimes when talking. When he hugged me, he would bury his face in my neck. He said one that he loves how we have so much in common and really enjoy talking to me, and he could see himself being seriously interested in me when a little more time passes. Friends who were around us this weekend have asked if there's anything going on between us. His friends were joking (drunkenly) about us hooking up.

When he's not drunk, he's friendly but not openly flirty.

Drunk anything is always hard to tell. Our (as in girls & guys) judgment is off...

However, he is expressing interest and I would keep it at that. Only interest.

BUT, alcohol is also known to be "liquid courage". So he may be a little shy around you when sober. So take it easy and see what future interactions bring up.

Tough to tell. Though, it does show that he has some interest, but that's far from "I want to be with you forever." Just take it easy and don't be afraid to make the first move if it drags out too long.
