Women are confusing. What are the hints that she likes you?

As a guy it's not rare to be the one who makes contact first. It's not difficult for me to start a good conversation. However I often have a hard time to determine if a girl enjoys the conversation and that she sees you as a friend or that she has an interest in you. What are the hints when she is shy or not clear about it.

I sometimes wonder if there are hints that I'm completely oblivious of. Because of it it's difficult to make progress and I feel like everyone sees me as a good guy/brother/friend.
Why are women so confusing and let the guy do all or most of the work lol.. seriously it's also difficult for us (me). Especially if you're not an extravert.

I agree, you guys have it rough trying to figure us ladies out. Here are a few things to pay attention to, while talking with a girl, to determine if she is interested.
1) Body language. If her body is facing you straight on, or if seated, she turns toward you, she is giving an unconscious sign that she is interested.
2) Eye contact. Believe me, if you're talking with a woman and her eyes are looking straight into yours throughout the conversation, she is interested.
3) Touching you. A little touch on your hand, placing her hand on your shoulder, and the big one, if she leans into your body.
These things can range from very subtle to very noticeable.
By the way, these things work in reverse too. By that I mean, You can show a woman how interested you are in her by doing these things toward her. Her response back to you will give you a good idea if she is interested or not. Good Luck

For me I normally tease a lot, almost too much. Or say something that can be interpreted as flirtatious.

To be honest, most of the time it's quite calculated so it's easy to miss or not notice just encase the guy will be freaked out.

My advice would be:
1. See her body language
2. Look at the eye contact
3. Notice whether she ever tries to avoid conversation or has dull answers.

It's normally easier to tell if a girl doesn't like you so I'd recommend searching deeper into her signs and movement. Feel free to message me if you've noticed any behavior from her.

Depends on the type of girl your going after! Introverted girls are more shy and like to hide their feelings from that particular someone because their embarassed... or shy about their feelings! However its generally easy to pick up on it; they will be there when your there almost always, you can feel someone staring at you or sometimes they will look at the ground and smile. Also they will be VERY anxious around you and have a hard time talking to you and will take longer for them to talk to you than others. They will appreciate consistent effort in trying to talk to them despite their lack of charisma at a first glance!

Then there's extroverted women who are literally the opposite; they will say hi randomly to you in passing, smile and always somehow be around you. Her friends may act strange and know something is up. She will get louder or laugh louder hoping to get your attention from across the room

I think men are confusing too! Well, for me if I like a guy I will probably not be able to keep eye contact for long without blushing. I'll get fidgety and play with my hair a lot. I find myself smiling a lot when I like a guy, getting giggly like I'm in junior high school again, making lame jokes, and attempting to break the touch barrier. Sometimes if I'm really feeling brave and I'm sitting next to a guy I like, I will purposely lean against him, touch his hand or arm while talking to him, or play footsies if we're at a restaurant or someplace where we are sitting across from each other. If a guy asks if I like him, I will tell him if I do, although sometimes I might just blurt it out when he asks,"How come you're so giggly around me?" I'm awkward as heck, lol

I think women are most confusing to men because they themselves don't really know who they are or what they want...
but when a woman knows what she wants, she will or SHOULD tell you.
I didn't really date when I was younger because I wasn't READY to date. When I was 24 and ready to date, I asked my husband out.

I tend to avoid the guy once I start liking him. I'm highly introverted and quiet (but really talkative in classes I enjoy or that ask for my opinion). My biggest fear, if I started hanging around him more, is that he would put two and two together and realize I like him. The last thing I need is another awkward friendship.

Most women are of the old school belief that a guy should chase. Times have definitely changed - personally speaking if I like a guy I don’t mind starting the conversation. I like a guy who consistently communicates (this is also frowned upon sometimes) and makes an effort to keep me interested. Def great sense of humor but not overbearing. Casually ask me out and see where it goes from there. Physical, emotional and communication chemistry are huge for me.

Guys are also confusing!
I know there are some people (guys) around me who like me a lot yet I never noticed until a girl friend of mine "indirectly" asked me if I like one of the guys
they never came to me asking if I liked them
nope they messaged my friend asking her to ask me if I like them without being oblivious that she is asking about what I think especially about him

You need to just to be yourself. Yes us women are hard to understand, I don't even understand myself sometimes. You'll know if she's not enjoying the conversation.. She won't still be having it with you. If she likes you she will smile a lot as its hard not to smile around someone you like.
