Should I cut off contact with my crush?

im in love with a guy who sees me as a sister. I know he will probably never think of me in that way but I somehow I can't stop hoping/thinking about the possibility of one day. I also feel like I can't stop contacting him - its almost as if the worse I feel about the situation the more I want to talk to him?! our friendship is special and I know he cares about me a lot but should I still cut off contact anyway? it's so hard to. I just feel like I can't get over him :(

Tell him! Look I have been told many times by friends that they liked me and you know what? I might have said "no" but in reality the experiance made us better friends with a richer history. If he thinks of you as a sister you are probly right about him rejecting a relationship. In my opinion however having someone who thinks of you like that is much more valuable than any boyfriend ull ever have.

Oh and also if he thinks of you as a sister...DONT WORRY ABOUT REJECTION OR FRIENDSHIP STATUS. He still should think the same way =)

He basically calls me little sister to my face...

I probably will tell him, but after - then what? should I cut off completely or still be friends?

After you tell him continue what you both started. You will be fine after telling him everything. I’ve been with your situation before, a guy I like he thinks of me as a sister. But I told him that I like him and after the rejection I still continue being friends with him. And a few weeks or maybe months had pass after telling him what I really feel. He realizes that he likes me too, but I lost the feeling I felt with him before.
