What kinds of guys intimidate girls?

Are there certain characteristics of guys that would intimidate you to the point that you wouldn't approach them despite the fact you are interested?

Guys with piercing eyes. Have you ever met someone with icy blue eyes? That stuff seriously knocks me on my butt.

But that's a physical characteristic.

Some guys just seem unapproachable and intimidating in the way they carry themselves. But these are the guys who come off as egotistical and think they're too hot to trot. I tend to avoid those guys anyway.

To be approached it's a matter of looking fun and friendly. Open-mindedness and genuine charm. Someone who seems genuine shouldn't have a problem, as they seem honest and caring, and are easiest to open up to, and therefore, approach.

I said they were intimidating but I never said I didn't like them!

In fact they knock me on my butt cause they leave me at a loss for words!

Best combo = dark hair and light blue eyes. It melts me into mush every time.

I just remember having this crush in the eighth grade... I liked this guy, and the day I finally went up to him to talk to him, he looks straight at me. And just to have those eyes on me, I was like...

That happens to the best of us, even if we rehearsed several times what we were going to say! Curious, would brown hair count as dark or does it have to be black.

Yeah, it was so many years ago, but I still distinctively remember those eyes!

I specifically am talking about dark brown or black hair. But this is just my personal "I'm a sucker for it" kind of thing, and I don't necessarily seek these guys out. No reason to get discouraged if you have light brown hair haha. This is just one girl's silly opinion :P

lol well I don't even know what tint my hair is because when I am in the sun, it usually gets a lot brighter and in the winter a lot darker...weird. But I do think its more lighter and I definitely wouldn't get discouraged. I was just curious because I have heard a lot of girls lately saying that they want or like brown eyes and dark hair on a guy because its mysterious(still don't understand it lol)

haha icy blue eyes. reminds me of one of my teammates who at the community college we were both attending he was deemed the sexiest man on campus. You can cover his whole face, and just lookin at those eyes makes me want to gauge them out and put them on me lol.

Guys in certain professions I find very intimidating, anything in law enforcement I stay away from.

Or any guy harboring that kind of power temperament. My experience has being that things start off well, the guy is flexible and easy going, but then he starts to tighten up and want to control me. Although my girlfriends can handle guys like that, I can't.

Regardless of how attractive they are.

If they have a quality I really dislike: litter, excessively arrogant, man whores, manipulators, on roids etc. I wouldn't be interested. And would likely shun them for it, show them that they're not dealing with a passive easily weilded female. Oddly enough, you can break them like a horse doing this.

But I still don't want them if they're not of solid character deep down.

freakishly buff guys. No matter how good looking they are, I'd be worried that when I approached him, he'd me mentally tabulating my body fat percentage lol

I don't know...I doubt there are many that terrify me. Maybe if he was a certified genius! If his IQ was over 160 ... I'd be a bit intimidated...but I'd like him a lot more than an average guy! Oh yeah!

when they act like a manwhore...when they act cocky...and when they act like they will never be "whipped"...like no matter what they won't change to make a girl happy...partying, drugs, and alcohol, also makes me not want to be interested..

overly macho, over confident guys who refrain from making eye contact with anyone and seem to be in their own world doing their own thing. strangely sometimes these tend to be the guys who are pretty attractive physically
