A few weeks later, I was standing in the queue at the and looking towards the exit, when I saw a young worker look round at me in a discreet glance, thinking I didn't see. About 10 seconds later she turned round to her colleague and asked her how she was getting on. Her colleague was behind me stacking shelves. I am not sure if she deliberately asked because it gave her an excuse to look.
Recently, I was in the supermarket and approached this girl and asked her whether they had any Tuna sandwiches. She pointed down at the tuna and sweetcorn sandwiches, and as I turned back to say that I meant Tuna and Mayo, she seemed to be looking at me as though she was trying to suppress herself from smiling.
So, a day later I saw her look at me on passing and smiled to say hello/acknowledge me. I said good morning and continued on.
The following day, I was walking down the aisle towards her checkout and we just looked at each other for 3-5 seconds, holding eye contact. As I reached the end of the aisle, I turned away from her and went to self-service checkout. She then turned up at the staff's terminal and immediately turned her back to me.
Finally, Yesterday, I was at the self checkout and I noticed she was looking at me, so I looked up at her and we held eye contact for about three seconds, before I turned away smiling and carried on with scanning my items.
Does the prolonged eye contact mean they are attracted to me /like me?
