I don't know if he likes me or is dming me just to be friendly?

So basically were friends but like recently he’s been showing signs that he’s interested he DM’s me more and reply still like every story asking how things are and remembers the little details but I don’t know now if I should DM him or just leave it be because we haven’t talked in a couple of days we always just like reply to each other stories
