Why, after 2 weeks of nothing did he contact me?

So, I'd been seeing a guy for a while but I had begun to realize that I was doing all the initiation of our conversations, calling, texting, when I did call or text though, he always replied, all seemed fine, except he was no longer initiating! The thing that did it for me was we'd arranged a day out and he was to let me know when he was free, he never did this. So after our last text convo I decided not to contact him to see how long he'd take to contact me. It took him 2 weeks and when he did he never said anything about why he;d not been in touch or asked me why I hadn't. He asked how was I, told me he was off work for a week and he was hoping to get good weather! I'm pleased he contacted me but confused about his topic of conversation. So why do you think he contacted me ?

that's where you went wrong, by texting calling and initiating all the time. It's nice to have a girl text call and initiate things on her own, but not all the time. I mean if I really like a girl and she calls and texts and initiates all the time...it would be kinda cool, but I would more than make up for it by letting her know I appreciate it and I'd start bumping up the amount of time I call or text her on my own so I could match her behavior. So, unless you know FOR SURE he likes you, you shouldn't be texting and calling and initiating all the time. Especially if he himself doesn't know whether he likes you or not (you could be one out of several girls he's considering seeing for example) its generally a very BAD idea to do that because it reeks of stage 5 clinger, no matter how hot you are (or think you are)

Anyways, his 2 week hiatus was confusion for why you decided to stop contacting him. If he likes you, he may be thinking that since you do the initiating he doesn't have to (which means he is a lazy f***) or he may have very bad flirting/courtship skills. And if he doesn't like you, he could have just considered you as a friend. In any case, send him this text. This text is under the assumption that you've lost attraction for him, because hopefully YOU HAVE.

"Hey nice to hear from you! But its been 2 weeks since you've contacted me and I'm a bit confused why you're calling me after a long time. I really think we would be great friends, just friends. ttyl"

Okay, so I just kinda made that up really quick about you can alter it and adjust it. If he really LIKES YOU (and you still like him) then his response will give you great insight after sending this text. If he doesn't like you, this text will help you understand that he is NOT INTERESTED.

Anyways reconsider whether you should even like this guy, with his behavior and flirting skills he sounds like a major douche bag (IF he in fact likes you) which is something that we don't know at this point.
