Why would a guy giggle?

I have never heard a guy giggle before. I complimented him and he thanked me and giggled. He seemed happy.

Did he like my compliment or is giggling when guys do it a brush off?

Man, I met this guy the other day for the second or third time, and I started talking to him about some random things. And he seemed like he just thought I was the funniest person ever to live (which I know that I am definitely not).

I'm thinking: (1) that is just how he laughs or (2) he is totally faking.

I'm not sure about your situation, though. If the guy was in your age bracket, I couldn't see him giggling on purpose.

If he is the shy type he probably liked that you were complementing him and giggling was the only way he could keep from blushing. On the other hand if he is not shy, then it may have been a brush off.
