What in your mind do you consider "dorky" and is that a bad thing in your eyes?

When you think of someone being "dorky" what kinds of personality traits fit that word in your eyes?

here's an example of where"dork" is used

Girl: What you doing?
Guy: Fixing my computer.
Girl: You actually know how?
Guy: Yeah I can completely take it apart and put it back together in mere minutes.
Girl: Wow Serious?
Guy: Sure can and I know the perfect ram and graphics card needed to make it run flawlessly.
Girl: You are such a dork. (The girl laughs while talking.)

My mom thinks I'm special!😁 I could be considered dorky or nerdy. Im a weird one. I embrace it and honestly I find those terms endearing and use them as such😊 I love listening to people who have such passion and excitement about something they are into.

I do not see that as a "dork" mmhhmm not at all. I see that as "smart, explaining/giving information.
On the movie "nerds", they were called or 1 was called a dork, anyways--- I don't see them being dorks either.
If something id funny to me about a thing/person or even me doing it, that right there, is considered "dorky" to me. so guess at times, am a dork... and proud of it

I see the dorky types as being cheesy, corny, goofy, physically weak. I don't see that as necessarily such a bad thing though. It's all in the realm of social skills as I see it. There's both a charming and obnoxious equivalent of jock, nerd, dork, geek. A common trend I find in obnoxious types is a complete lack of self-awareness.

Someone who is socially awkward due to his interest in geeky things. Like specifically kinda like Sheldon from big bang tbh just the more autistic side of geeky, And no not a bad thing at all. Apart from maybe one of there interest's that they overwhelmingly revolve there life around like star track can be very bad to me since i have no interest in that.

I don't think I've ever used it in a negative way. The only time I call people dorks is when for example my friends gets super excited talking about their d&d session I'll laugh and call them dorks but I mean it in the most loving way 🤣

somebody is dorky when they lack certain social skills. They may be introverted or just not experienced around people.. Sometimes people like that retreat into a fantasy world and that is where the computers come in.

Everyone uses it as a negative but it is not. When I first got into IT people used "nerd" as a derogatory term but it has evolved into something that is not derogatory.
