I keep accidentally making eye contact with a girl I work with, what is going on?

I work at a restaurant and me and my coworker keep randomly making eye contact. For example I'll be doing something alone then look up and instantly catch eyes with her from far away. Or I'll be walking through the crowded restaurant and we end up locking eyes. This has happened quite a few times over the past few weeks but I don't know what to think.

She's nice to me when we talk, but don't sense anything else other than just being nice. Does she think I'm weird or suspect I'm staring at her?

That kind of situation can be very hard to decipher from the other side of the internet.
If I were to witness it in person, I might be able to take a guess as to what's going on.

She may just be someone who is observant of other people.
Does she seem to do the same with others?

Are there any coworkers whom you trust to not razz you if you were to ask them to try to assess the situation for you?

If there is no one else available in real life to ask about it, try to imagine yourself as a different person to try to formulate possibly different viewpoints.

Yeah I understand, it was a bit difficult to explain the situation, and yeah you are not here to witness it. It just kind of feels strange, and I think she's cute its just I don't want to risk or assume anything. Plus my luck with girls is really bad so I wanted to know what the internet thought.

I will say this, dating coworkers can be dicey, but, being aware of your age, that might not be much of an issue.

I can say that I wasn't very lucky with girls when I was your age, too, but I think that most of my bad luck was self-made.
I freaked myself out way too much.
What would I say to my younger self?
I still to this day have no idea what I would say to myself that would've made a difference.
I'd like to say to just have confidence, but it's just about impossible to have confidence if you don't know what confidence feels like.
If there is something in your life that you do feel confident about, see if you can translate that confidence to this situation.
It eventually worked itself out, for me.

Mostly of times it means nothing you thinking it could mean. We look at guys for many random things not exactly because we like him.
