Do I tell my boyfriend that other guys are hitting on me?

Hey, I'm going to start out by saying that I love my boyfriend and would never cheat on him.

However, there are lots of guys who are flirting with me. By flirting, I mean saying.gee if you didn't have a boyfriend I would ________, calling me "babe," sending me notes with hearts, etc. It's probably about 5 who are doing this. I try really really hard to be faithful to my boyfriend, and I made sure that they all know that I am taken, but this is still going on.

Should I tell my boyfriend about it? I know that honesty is the best policy and I am honest with my boyfriend to the best of my ability, but I'm a little worried about his reaction.he gets upset if other guys even so much as LOOK at me, and the last time he found out a guy was hitting on me, that guy almost ended up in the emergency room.He's normally a peaceful guy, but this is the one thing that really ticks him off (and he's 6'6" and 210 so the results can be pretty bad!)

What do I do? Should I shut up and feel like I'm hiding something from my boyfriend or tell him and have w/e happens to these guys on my conscience? please please give me helpful and detailed answers because I feel torn about this.

These guys are being extremely disrespectful - not only to your boyfriend, but especially to you. Sometimes you just have to deal with the consequences of your actions - and the consequences of theirs sounds like an ass kicking.

Let these guys know that you are not comfortable with the flirting. You might be trying to deal with this by being nice - so they are not taking you seriously. Explain to the guys that your boyfriend is the jealous type and because you are always honest with him, you don't want to give him any reason to be jealous.

Bat your pretty eyes and say "Oh, I though he was going to kill that last guy. It's such a shame he has such a bad temper!"

They need to respect you and what you want. You just need to be a little firmer (bitchy maybe?).

Good luck. I think you should tell him, just because I like knights in shining armor who kick ass. Not everyone's preference I know - you know him the best, so do what you think is right. Just get those jerks off your back.

No God don't tell him. There's no need for it. It'll either make him jealous, nervous, worried, or he'll wonder why you're telling him. You're not hiding anything from him unless you're reacting to these guys hitting on you. When a guy does that just be like "Listen I'm taken thanks for the flattery but I have a good boyfriend " there's no need to tell him honestly.

if it's constant then definately tell him, but impress on him the importance of not beating the guys up, it could end him up jail and with lawsuits and medical bills attached.

Don’t tell him, especially if he’s the obsessive and emotional type. By the way there is nothing wrong with being obsessive over this. It’s just the personality of some people. Some people just don’t fancy, some stranger, hitting on their beloved and disrespecting their commitment. Others may find it flattering but I guy like me clearly wouldn’t. If you love him and didn’t respond to that guy hitting on you, don’t tell him. Still don’t tell him in serious cases. Go to your family instead. If you tell him, he might think he should do something about it but guess what? He can’t. So it’s none sense. Take it as a compliment and that’s it.

Honesty is alwasy the best policy. Tell him, but make sure he doesn't go and beat up on the other guys. Telling him now, rather than him finding out in a month, will difinitely make the situation easier.

Honestly, having been the guy in this situation, I would rather know. If you're being faithful to your boy, then he's got nothing to get upset about, try and convince him of that. Sounds like you have a guy who just loves you a lot :D that's never a bad thing.

Talk to him when he's removed from anything to do with where the guys are, ie, at home or when you're out on the weekend.

Thanks--I really make an effort to be faithful to him, as he does to me, so I would say we have a very good relationship...and yes, honesty is good, but any ideas on how I can prevent him from practically killing those guys?? lol.

Well, there's a few ways you could approach it.. Talk to him when he's calm and relaxed and bring it up like it's funny.. If you just brush it off as being nothing, then he's more likely to think it's nothing as well, whereas if you sit him down and have a full-on conversation about it, it could turn bad.. Just smile, laugh, tell him you love him and make sure he knows that it means nothing to you, you're his girl :) and good luck :) sounds like you two are great for each other :)
