There is someone I have a crush on and I really want him to like me more. What are things girls do that get you interested in them?
We barely talked at this point by the way so it’s hard for me to just ask him out. Any ideas how to get closer to him?

If you've shown interest, and he hasn't shown any back, there's a chance he isn't initially attracted to you. If that's the case, I think a good move for you would be to do something he doesn't expect. Something that will make him think; this girl is crazy, this girl is funny. In other words, you need to put yourself out there, and take the chance of making an absolute fool of yourself. That probably has the best chance of breaking through whatever intellection wall he has in place, making him notice you, arousing his curiosity.

Keep in mind that if you to embarrass yourself or somehow make him angry and disappointed, that feeling will only last until you actually do something to reach him and make him interested. When that moment arrives, nothing that went before it really matters.

Of course, if you think he might actually be interested, try physical touch. Grab his hand as you talk to him, brush your leg or arm against his. Smile and make him feel welcome.

Thanks a lot! Honestly I don’t know if he has any interest in me. His sister is a very close friend of mine and when I told her that we talked for about 2 hours at a party a few weeks ago she was extremely surprised since he isn’t the type to talk that much with people and he has never done that before appearently. He also warmed my hands when I was freezing and offered his jacket. He didn’t want to go home with his friend that night since we were having a good time talking so I offered to drive him home so he stayed an hour longer. When we got to his house he stayed In my car and smiled very sweetly before he thanked me and left. A few days ago I had a hard time doing my homework and asked him for help and helped me. When I told his sister she was a little surprised since he was probably gaming with his friends and didn’t expect him to help me out that much.

So I guess he does like me but I don’t know if he was just being sweet since I am a very close friend of his sister or if he thinks something else…

Have you considered that maybe he's the passive nice guy and needs you to make the first move? I'm no expert, but this definitely sounds like a lot of foreplay to me. I know the mind of a shy gamer guy from my own past experiences, and you being a close friend of his sister would not make it any less awkward for him to make a move :)

First off be yourself. Take the initiative to talk to that person. If you try to just act in ways that you think he will like but is not the way you normally are it will probably not work out in the long run.
