Do girls send love songs to their crushes as a hint or are they just playing? If so, what song would you send?

So this girl and I are best friends. It's stayed that way for a couple years now. However recently, she's been sending me a few songs and has told me to read the lyrics of each one. Sometimes, she even emphasizes a particular stanza, and they all have to do with love.

I'm a little weirded out by her actions, and I'm not sure what to make of it.

Guys, have you been in this situation before? What was it like?

Girls, do you typically do this to your "crush" or are you just being friendly? If you do do (lol) this, what song(s) do you typically send to your crush?

I, personally, haven't done this kind of thing to any guys I was interested in, but it is common for girls and guys to do this! I've had that done to me plenty of times, and I've witnessed some of my friends doing the same thing. Pay close attention to the lyrics, because that is her sending you a message. Maybe start sending her songs, too, if you're interested? Good luck and be gentle with her!

I don't do this. I have put songs on my status that may pertain to a crush hoping he will realize it's about him. lol But I would say she is trying to tell you she thinks of you as more than a friend. Good luck!

I am in the same position right now and with the opinion of the other ladies, I am pretty confident she is sending me a hint. But i still don't know how to react!
