As a female cashier, a male customer likes you. Not 'loves' you, 'likes' you. He does not want to get you in trouble at work, nor does he want to put you on the spot. So to prevent that headache, he leaves you a letter, expressing how he feels and includes his number, kindly asking that you read this when he leaves so. He leaves you this note not to get romantic, but just wants to get to know you if you are genuinely interested, as his time is quite valuable to him. And a male customer reaching out to a female cashier is quite risky, a risk I personally would not take if I wasn't interested in her, lol. Would you read the letter that he left you? If so, how would you respond?
