Do you like hugs at the waist or neck best, guys?

I do both, but for some reason like reaching up to hug & snuggling my face in their neck as I wrap my arms around it. Tippy toes if they're tall.

But, hugs at the waist aren't bad, laying my head on their chest & feeling protected with their arms over me. Feeling his chin on my head.

Is there a preference? Or just like hugging, who cares? ;-)

different hugs fit different situations and different people.

for example, I wouldn't want a girl I'm not interested in to hug my at the neck, I'd want that at the waist. and I'd want a girl I do like or a girl I'm dating to hug me at the neck cause it feels romantic, reminds me of the romantic movies I used to watch as a kid, where the girl would lift her foot as she hugged the tall guy at his neck.

but if I were laying down with that same girl, then at the waist cause its more comfortable.

I just like huggs so I don't care..

But it depends on the situation..

If your happy or cheering me up.. Go for the neck

If your sad or feeling lonly go for the waist..

But in between hugs are good to

I think that hugs around the neck are meant for a romantic context. And hugs around the waist are for friends but can also be romantic in certain situations.

I like hugs where a woman's arms go around my neck, and mine around her waist, both squeezing firmly. The one handed hugs are the worst, they're pretty weak.

im fine with both and kinda agree with loveless. I slightly prefer around the neck something about the eye contact that's not there when you hug around the waist
