How do guys like to be hugged? around the neck, back, waist etc?

OK, so me and this one guy have gotten closer as this school year has gone on.

he always tells me that I'm really pretty, and when I see him in the halls before school, and before 6th hour starts he usually hugs me. and he doesn't really want to let go.

he's about 4 inches or a couple more taller that me, and when he hugs me he usually hugs me around my back since I am shorter.

i am really starting to like him, and I kind of want to show him when I hug him. I don't really want to tell him straight up just yet because I AM kind of shy about this kind of stuff with guys.

to the girls: what have you done to your bf/crush that has worked for you.

guys: hugs around the neck, back, waist? tight or looser? bodies touching or the weird side-hug?

It indicates they are loving the time you have with them. When a girl does this and leans her head on my chest, I feel I have the world in the palm of my hand.
