It became draining.
Long story short we met at work she was all over me. I kept my distance because I knew she was seeing a guy on and off. People knew we liked each other. Last day she was so emotional she said she wanted to hug me but she couldn’t due to COVID restrictions at work. I gave her a gift and she was so happy and got emotional and said she will always keep it with her.
I tried to keep in touch with her.
She always respond fast.
One day I asked her to hang out with me and a girl from work she told me she is busy with family.
I texted her later and she ghosted me.
However, she came to work and she asked my coworker about me.
Today my other coworker was on the phone with her. Then my coworker came and asked me if I knew that this womans dad was at the hospital.
I am not sure if she asked her to tell me she just walked up to tell me how busy this woman was the past few weeks due go her dad.

Friendzone. You are the moon. To prevent this, don't think too hard on it if the signs of wanting you are not consistent, on off behavior. If you get it too often, look into options such as working out, new job, better savings or toys, etc.
