How did you find out if your friend really was showing interest in you as more than a friend or was just being your friend?

Did you find their true intentions and did it have impact on your friendship for good or bad if you found out? Did you somehow find out without plainly asking?

Maybe your friend is confusing you right now like mine too

Like if they held your hands or was into sitting next to you, example being sitting in the backseat of a car and they lean weight into you and try to always have their leg touching yours. Specific example yeah

Eye contact too, if maybe they confused you with that and you found out whether they were hoping to be more than friends or not. Maybe even eye contact while holding hands.

Or anything else, in my own case it’s been nothing more than holding hands, arms, eye contact, and the car example (I am laughing out loud right now no not really)
