My crush texts me fast then ghosts me too?

My crush will sometimes text me back fast and be nice but then sometimes go ghost on me too. every message is so different I never know what to expect. Is this normal with guys sometimes? like I never know if he's being rude or does not like me?

No! In my experience guys like that are playing the field! They have several girls they text. Since it’s too difficult to give two or three, or even more girls 100% of his attention, they alternate, giving one girl the immediate attention, then giving the next girl the attention! So one will always be waiting, and feeling ghosted, while the other gets replies immediately!

This is a possibility if the guy isn’t legitimately busy with things. It’s something to keep an eye out for.

I’ve had guy friends text me in a similar way, us both being straight males.

But yeah, a guy “spinning plates” as they say may text like this too.

I’d say, don’t make assumptions but also definitely keep an eye out for possible signs of womanizing.

@dynamicyandere I’m sorry, but guys communicate with girls they might get to have sex with in a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT way than they communicate with their male friends. I texted a guy saying basically: “Hi, you busy?” He replied “I’m at work, but I’m never too bust to chat with you” He was a BANK TELLER! I asked “wait, don’t you have customers?” And he immediately replied “yeah but they can wait sweetheart, you are more important!” Although we were only in the very earliest stages of the relationship, I ended it. I cannot stand it when I’m waiting in line for anything, and some of the employees are just staring at their phones! I also can’t stand guys with no work ethic! Texting me that you are willfully ignoring your job, does not exactly SCREAM “hey I’ll be an excellent example to our future children”!

True, guys can communicate differently with girls compared to guys. But, wouldn’t you be more drawn to him if he waited until after work and texted you, “Sorry for the late reply. I was at work. Are you still free?”

Of course guys that are being more desperate and thirsty are going to reply fast because they have nothing better to do. All I’m saying is that their texting speed may or may not make them a f*ckboy.

But yes, f*ckboys can definitely text in the way you describe.

@dynamicyandere It has nothing to do with being “drawn to him” I respect men (and women) with a good work ethic! More importantly, I despise people at work who just ignore me and/or other customers to finish up their personal texting! It seriously bothers me!

I would say that all interactions used to gauge a relationship should be done in person. That’s the only thing that’s real

It’s normal. Pay more attention to the content of the texts rather than the timing and don’t worry too much about the frequency. Just play it cool and don’t overthink about this too much. ☺️
